Canbridge Global Immigration’s blog highlights HDFC Life International’s launch of a new health insurance plan tailored for Indian students studying abroad. This policy addresses the rising healthcare costs in popular student destinations such as the UK, USA, Canada, Germany, and Australia. The plan, which requires payment in US dollars, is aimed at students aged 12–40 who are currently pursuing or aspiring to pursue higher education overseas.

The global student healthcare plan comes in four options, offering coverage of up to $3 million and flexible cover terms ranging from three months to one year. It provides global coverage, ensuring access to top medical facilities worldwide, including hospitals, clinics, doctors, and professionals.

Rahul Prasad, Chief Executive of HDFC International Life and Re, highlighted the plan’s benefits, stating that it allows customers to access private medical facilities and services without the traditional inconvenience of long appointment wait times. The policy covers a wide range of medical needs, including routine check-ups, emergencies, dental care, home doctor visits, and alternative medicine.
